Marcello Malandugno was born in Lecce, Italy, in 1965. He studied at the Academia della Arte, in Lecce. His paintings expressthe rythm and rituals of nature. Pure and simple beauty force the viewer to check the pureness and the balance of the energy flow inside. Light plays a major role in his paintings as well. Malandugno pictures with the simplicity of Italy's southern region: never overdone.
