The 10-cm engraved brass dial has Roman numerals and the foliate engraved centre is signed G. Pecquet A Paris. The single hour hand is made of blued steel and the alarm disc of brass.
The movement
The movement is driven by a weight and has a duration of thirty hours. It is being regulated by verge escapement in combination with a silk suspended pendulum. The alarm strikes on a bell.
The case
The brass case is surmounted by a bell cross with an urn finial. Between the urn finials supporting the bells cross there are pierced frets of which the front one is engraved with a mask. The doors at the sides give access to the movement. The whole is mounted on the wall by a hoop and spurs.
