About the artist

German sculptor Kuno Vollet knows how to unite the seemingly incompatible in his sculptures: he uses heavy and robust materials such as bronze, brass and steel for his abstract works of art. Despite the weight of these materials, he succeeds in working them in such a way that the sculptures appear dynamic and almost weightless. His works are always in perfect balance and radiate harmony and serenity.

Vollet draws his inspiration for the shapes of his sculptures from both nature and transcendental meditation, a practice he has been practicing for years. He uses these influences to create sculptures that symbolize infinity and constant change.

Kuno Vollet, born in 1951, has been working as an independent artist since 2003 and has his studio in Kassel. His oeuvre extends beyond sculpture and also includes painting, drawing, installations and mobiles. His work is exhibited worldwide and has been shown at exhibitions and fairs in London, Miami, Berlin, Zurich, New York and Amsterdam, among others.
