About the artwork
A Bohemian transparent beaker, cut and painted in red and blue. The front with a panel depicting Napoleon on horseback, finely painted in 'schwarzlot': a type of decoration in a black, linear style that was nearly always based on line engravings. The title 'Napoleon' can be read in black.
