    Toon Dupuis was a renowned sculptor and medallist, born in Antwerp and later working in the Netherlands, where he made an important contribution to the art world in the early 20th century. Dupuis studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and further refined his technique in The Hague, where he settled.

    Dupuis’ work is characterized by a classical and refined style, often with attention to human form and expression. He was a master in creating portraits, statues and reliefs, capturing both mythological and realistic themes. His eye for detail and craftsmanship made him a sought-after artist for official commissions, including portrait busts of prominent figures and monuments that can still be admired in the Netherlands and Belgium today.
