Galerie Année has been offering contemporary art for almost 30 years; paintings, sculptures, glass, photography and jewellery. From contemporary plein-air impressionism to cast glass sculptures.

Always high-quality art with a demonstrably unique visual language from artists from within and outside the Netherlands. Right in the heart of Haarlem, these artists can be followed over a longer period of time, as the gallery regularly lets them return in its exhibitions and almost always has works in stock.

The exhibitions consist of combinations of two and three-dimensional work that reinforce a certain atmosphere in each other. There are about eight exhibitions per year. These are arranged with great care in the bright exhibition space that gives full attention to the art.

In addition, the gallery participates in events such as Stripdagen Haarlem, with original work by big names from the Comics world such as Joost Swarte, Lorenzo Mattotti, Jacques de Loustal, Guido van Driel, Hanco Kolk, Chris Ware and others.

The gallery has been presenting itself at various national fairs since 1995, including currently Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam, Naarden The Art Fair and Art Laren.

Galerie Année opened its doors in 1992 and has grown into a professional art company that offers excellent service, both in terms of advice and business.

Hostess/owner Annelies Année and her husband Peter Binkhorst, as experienced gallerists, make the visitor feel welcome and give them plenty of space to explore the exhibition. They offer information about art and artist and the opportunity to obtain extensive advice about a purchase.

The long-term collaboration with the artists associated with the gallery and a broad knowledge of the contemporary art offer form the basis on which the gallery advises and assists art lovers in acquiring and placing high-quality, affordable works of art in their own environment.
