This icon is so called “Servische Wandelmalerei” icon.
This types of icons were painted by travelling Serbian painters, mainly for the rural people in Russia.
These icons are easy recognisable because they often have silver backgrounds, baroque flower patterns in the garments of the saints and engraved decorations. - About the artist
