For sale is this ink drawing of Mary Wigman by a German artist, Fritz Husmann, who spent a lot of time in Hamburg's pre-war artistic environment. He was particularly friends with the innovators of expressionist modern dance. This drawing is a good example of this.
Hereby the email I received from Fritz Husmann's son, originally in German:

''I am pleased that you are enjoying a drawing of "MARY WIGMAN" by
Fritz Husmann have. You contacted the grandson ... and he did
after consultation with me - I am ........ from Fritz
Husmann - the correctness of dating and identity of the dancer
    confirmed.

The generation of great German solo dancers (Mary Wigman, Gret
Palucca, Yvonne Georgii, Dore Hoyer, Harald Kreuzberg and others) stood in
Spotlight from the mid-20s to the mid-50s. All
Drawings by Fritz Husmann are presented by the artists in Hamburg
for the occasion and appeared in the feature pages of the newspapers - mostly next to a review.
The venues were das Thalia-Theater, das Theater im Zimmer
and das Curio-Haus. There were dance sequences without music, with texts, with
Percussion, with a small ensemble, with a record or with piano.

I remember one of the pianists well: Ernst Koster,
who is a friend of my parents ... I also have childish memories of visits from
Dancers - sporty, Indian-like women with deep makeup
low voices also they moved very strangely; they let themselves
    drawn by my father.

The dance and theater drawings by Fritz Husmann were very popular,
he therefore switched to producing print versions as well. the
Griffelkunst acquired many of them in the early 30s and showed them
them in exhibitions. Due to this lucky coincidence, about 700
Drawings that were only meant to last a day in the newspaper,
survived the Second World War and today belongs to the State Library
    Hamburg.

If you are interested, I recommend Ralf's biography of Gret Palucca
Stick. Palucca was a student of Mary Wigman and founded in Dresden
a dance school that is still in demand today.''

    Thus the son.
